HANDSTANDS AT 100 MPH EVENT HONORS Off-Road MOTORCYCLE RACERS
In an effort to bring the off-road motorcycle racing community together, the Handstands at 100 MPH is a special event promoted by SCORE Baja Champions Scot Harden and Johnny Campbell.
“We wanted to celebrate the legacy and heritage of remarkable athletes and racers,” says Harden. “Those individuals who risked everything and achieved success at a very high level in the tough arena of Baja racing.”
The event will be held at the Doffo Winery in Temecula, CA on Saturday October 16th 2021 at 4:00pm, and will bring together numerous past and present off-road motorcycle champions from over the past five decades. The event is $45 per ticket and includes a reception, party, autograph signing and a viewing of the digitally remastered On Any Sunday, which is celebrating its 50th anniversary. “That movie started it all and inspired me and many other motorcycle racers to pursue desert racing,” says Harden. “We are hoping to inspire the next generation of riders and share experiences. An optional Dual Sport ride (8:30am to 3:00pm) is also available for $85 that is limited to 75 riders and includes the reception and movie.

ON ANY SUNDAY MOVIE 50TH ANNIVERSARY
The famous film by Bruce Brown is celebrating its 50th anniversary and has been digitally remastered from its original release on July 28, 1971. The film was nominated for an Academy Award in the Best Documentary Feature category in 1972 and inspired many to get into motorcycling and desert racing. The movie will be back in theatres and local motorcycle dealerships this fall nationwide.
