another guy, and the level goes up. I've
gotten a lot of comments that my arena
has one of the top levels of play, even for
men over 30. I'm glad for it, but I haven't
been aiming for a high level of play. It's
just kind of evolved."
Spectators seem to appreciate the high
level of play, as some come to Wolf's just
to watch the games, even though they
don't play themselves or know any of the
players. David has observed one father
and son at the facility every Friday night.
"They know the schedule and the standings
as well as I do," says David. Such support
confirms that Wolf's Indoor Soccer is
important to its community.

operating the family's two previous
facilities, made some adjustments based
on trial and error, and come up with a
formula that works well.
"When operating an outdoor field, there's
a whole lot of maintenance involved.
Anything can go wrong, and you're only
in operation for a few months out of
the year."
One year-round indoor field seems to
be the best formula, as Wolf's Indoor
Soccer has been successful for more than
10 years.
"Hopefully we'll get at least another 10 out
of it because this is the greatest job I've
ever had in my life."
