CFMWS.CA/PETAWAWA 1 0 Deployment Support Did you know that deployment is defined as any time a CAF member is away for an extended period of time including courses, field exercises, IR and overseas deployments? We provide one-on-one support for families who are experiencing a work-related separation. We offer a range of programs, services and resources for adults, youth and children – all designed to make your life easier during this challenging time. The PMFRC offers drop-off locations where a letter or parcel will be picked up by the Base Mailroom to be sent to Military personnel deployed on operations. Drop off your package from Monday to Friday between 8 AM and 4 PM at the PMFRC North Side Office, located at 10-16 Regalbuto Ave. or the South Side Community Centre, located at 1578 Wolfe Ave. You can view detailed instructions to prepare your package online: https://bit.ly/PetMoraleMailEN Don't forget to complete your DAG! It operates on a borrowing model; items are loaned for a two-week period, and must be returned at the end of the borrowing window. Oftentimes, families think they don't need a plan because one parent is always at home. An updated and complete Emergency Child Care Plan ensures that you are ready for any situation. Did you know you should be completing a DAG anytime you are away from your family for 2 or more weeks? Whether it's related to a course, deployment, IR, OUTCAN or Isolated posting- DAGs are essential for ensuring the people who are important to you are supported.
