University in downtown Spokane, The Warehouse
Athletic Facility was built by John Stockton in 2002 as
a passion project amongst his collection of other real
estate ventures.
With approximately 30,000 sq ft of usable floor
space, The Warehouse is a comprehensive athletic
and recreation center. It features five full basketball
courts, six regulation volleyball courts, an indoor
baseball complex, and a fitness/dance studio.
Current Owner and Executive/Tournament Director
Jared Tikker has been with The Warehouse since its
inception starting with being on the clean-up crew
during the construction of the facility as a high school
student. In those beginning years, he also did a variety
of jobs in and around the facility to include custodial
work, scorekeeping, etc.
He continued his tenure throughout his college years,
coming back to work during the summers. In 2007, he
came aboard full time. Coincidently, his wife Chelsea
followed a similar trajectory…working part time
at the facility through high school and college. She
became a full-time employee in 2009 as the Assistant
