SCORE BAJA 1000 TEQUILA As a homage to Mexican culture and the vibrant tradition of BAJA 1000 racing celebrations, SCORE International now offers its brand of Tequila. BFGoodrich TIRES $25K PAYOUT At the BFGoodrich Tires 56th SCORE Baja 1000 Presented by K&N, BFGoodrich Tires is offering a $25K payout to the Overall Race Winner running on the company’s tires. At the 2022 race, Luke McMillin and Rob MacCachren won a similar purse when they crossed the finish line to win the race overall. At the SCORE Baja 400 BFGoodrich Tires also honored McMillin and MacCachren with the honorary BFGoodrich Tires SCORE Baja 1000 winner rings. McMillin now has three while MacCachren has six. PRO MOTO UNLIMITED $20K PURSE SCORE Pro Moto Unlimited racers will have a chance at receiving part of a $20K purse at this year’s BFGoodrich Tires 56th SCORE Baja 1000 Presented by K&N. Compiled from various companies participating in the Pro Moto Baja Racing Facebook Group. The vendors include Anube which brings the Stella and SPICA Tracking and scoring systems, HQ Office, Taco Moto Co. a motorcycle accessory company, Baja Bound Mexican Auto Insurance, AHM Factory Services which provides tuning, customization, and rebuilding, and Coast Powder Coating. The payout will be distributed to first through fifth-place finishers. First place receives $10K, 2nd $5,000, 3rd $3,000 4th $1,500, and 5th $500. “The money for this purse was put up by these vendors who want to support Pro Moto Racing in SCORE,” said SCORE Moto Liaison Andy Kirker. “This is a grassroots effort done simply for the love of the sport, so it’s important to point out that it is not a contingency program, but a straight payout for the winner and finishers.  LASERNUT TO CREATE NEW SCORE AWARDS   Lasernut in Norco, California is a metal manufacturing company that will begin making SCORE Awards and trophies for the 2024 season. Lasernut specializes in making products for numerous companies in the off-road industry and began working with SCORE, making the table showcased at SCORE’s press conference event during the 2023 Off-Road Expo. Lasernut’s owner Cody Wagner is an off-road enthusiast and racer who understands the needs of the off-road industry. “I’m excited to be working with SCORE and to come up with some great new awards for racers to keep as prized possessions,” said Wagner. The company has everything from various forms of laser cutting, bending, and forming, TIG and MIG welding capabilities, Robotic welding, finishing services, and design.
