Page | 6 (Updated August 14, 2024) Hands-On Learning | Proximate Cause: Equipment Tracking and Pull Types This item requires pull type FK (forklift) to be picked. The Pull Type Sequence is the iteration through the pick path that the item should be picked upon (0 is disabled, meaning it will always be last). The system will go through the pick sequence for all items of Pull Type Sequence 1, then 2, then 3, etc. Finally, when no higher numbers are found, it will do one last loop for the 0 items. If all items are set to 0, it would only loop through a single (last) iteration. Picking by Pull Type Let's start by reviewing a couple of sales orders that we expect to be picked. Navigate to the Review Sales Orders by Status page and select Main Menu Activities Order Processing Review Sales by Status. The Zones column has been updated to include the pull type. As you can see, the first order (4397040) is pickable in zone one, but only with a forklift (FK). The second order (4397041) is pickable in zone one for both DEFAULT (not displayed) and a forklift (FK). This means that it will require two separate picks, at a minimum, to complete the picking (once through with the DEFAULT pull type and once through with the FK pull type). The third order (4397042) is only pickable with the DEFAULT pull type. The fourth order (4397043) will require three different pull types (AS, DEFAULT and FK). Let's proceed with a demonstration of the picking process. Login to the Latitude TE Application 1) Launch the Latitude TE Application using USER04 at the Scan Badge prompt. Hit enter through the Password and Change Equipment prompts. Pick Orders with Default Pull Type 1) Select "Who Am I?" from the tools menu using F3 (tools) A) Who Am I? 2) Confirm that your pull type (PT) is set to "DEFAULT". 3) Escape back to the main menu and then auto batch so that we can pick everything for the four orders that can be picked with the default pull type. 4) Go to Main Menu 2) Orders 1) Pick 1) Pick 3) Auto Batch 1) Customer Orders 1) All Routes. 5) Enter Order Count: 4 One of the orders could only be picked with a forklift (FK) so only three of the orders were included in our batch. 6) Proceed with picking each order to its own load. Note that F4 will recommend a load for you if needed at the destination prompts. Once all the orders in the batch have been picked complete, return to the Review Sales Orders by Status page within Latitude Web by navigating to Main
