Kay console was unique to this boat and has since been recreated on other high-end Sunstar boats. As soon as you step onboard, you know this is no ordinary houseboat. One of the things you first notice is the high ceil- ing with the recessed ceiling fans. "The taller ceiling really does make a big difference," says George. "It does make it harder to haul it down the highway, but if it's staying close it's not an issue." One of the four HD televisions is located behind the helm in the salon and it's a 60-inch Pioneer plasma that is con- nected to the KVH R-6 auto trac satellite dish. But be careful, once you fall into one of those plush recliners in front of the big screen, you won't want to leave. Family Connection George and Patty's daughter Jorden, who is an interior de- signer in Florida, worked with her mom Patty in a team effort to give the boat a fresh look and feel. "Patty has a real good eye for color and Jorden did a great job with the décor," says George. "There were a few things that I had to get used to, but now I love what they've done to the boat."
