All appliances are top-of- the-line, including a Viking integrated fridge/freezer and Gaggenau in-cabinet oven and electric stovetop. The MetroShip has solar-powered exterior LED lights as well as halogen interior down lighters on touch-sensi- tive light switches. To appeal to technology junkies, the boat features full audio-visual capabil- ity, including satellite television and internet. An HDTV projector allows you to experience high quality picture whether you're watching a movie, using your computer or gaming. A flat-screen Sony LCD screen and Jamo Danish- made in-wall speakers round off the technology tour. Today, Ballinger is working on devel- oping an Intercostal MetroShip with a deeper V hull. He has nicknamed this project "The Missing Link Houseboat." For more information on the MetroShip, including how to order, visit www.metro-ship.com or call 818-357-4000. feature 35 October 2009
