Coach Sharon Versyp said Bays' season was "above and beyond" what anyone thought she could do, coming off the injuries. "I think the whole year has been big," Versyp said. "We didn't know if she'd finish the whole season. We didn't know where she'd be. "She's just battled. She's a kid who has so much passion and love for the game. She's just been amazing for us." Moses No. 1 Maybe at some point, Moses will be able to ap- preciate her stand- ing in Purdue's re- cord books. The time was not Monday night, though, after her career ended with a loss in the second round of the NCAA Tournament. Asked wheth- er she cared that she'd become the Boilermakers' all- time three-point leader, Moses simply said "no." "Going to the Sweet 16 would have been much sweeter," she said. Moses broke the record on Purdue's first possession. After getting the ball at the top of the key, she slipped de- fender Tiffany Bias with a quick dribble left and pulled up for the shot. The three-pointer swished, giving her 239 during her ca- reer and pushing her past Katie Gearlds. Moses made another three later in the game to finish her ca- reer with 240. On the season, Moses made 45 percent of her three-pointers. Gearlds was at the game, ad- dressing the team in the locker room before it started.
