gers, setting a school record with 341 all-pur-

three touchdowns and a 76-yard kickoff re-
turn that set up a four-yard passing touch-
down to wide receiver Jordan Westerkamp.
OHIO STATE (6-1, 3-0)
After leading for the entire
game Ohio State gave up a
game-tying field goal with nine
seconds left to knot the game 17-17 and
force overtime … Defensive lineman Joey
Bosa recorded three sacks on the night in-
cluding one on fourth down in double over-
time to cement the 31-24 win for Ohio State.
PENN STATE (4-3, 1-2)
Kicker Sam Ficken tied the
game at 17 with just nine sec-
onds left in regulation, forcing overtime with
Ohio State in Happy Valley … In the second
extra stanza, quarterback Christian Hacken-
berg was sacked on fourth down, ending
the game with Ohio State on top 31-24 …
Hackenberg finished 31-of-49 passing for 224
yards and a touchdown, but he also threw
two picks.
RUTGERS (5-3, 1-3)
Nebrask a was simply too
much for Rutgers, defeating the
Scarlet Knights 42-24 … Quar-
terback Gary Nova missed the entire second
half after being injured on the second-to-
last-play in the second quarter … Wide re-
ceiver Leonte Carroo had a big day, catching
five passes for 127 yards including a 71-yard
touchdown … The loss is Rutgers' eighth
straight against a top-25 opponent.
WISCONSIN (5-2, 2-1)
Wisconsin pounded the
visiting Terps 52-7 behind an-
other huge performance by
running back Melvin Gordon … The junior
tailback scored all three of his touchdowns in
the first half en route to a 22-carry, 122-yard
