Ten years ago, when High Velocity had been
open for only a few years, GO Indoor profiled
the facility. Since then, many changes have
occurred. Of course, there's the dome, which
represents not only a tremendous physical
change, but also a change in the way the
facility meets the needs of the community.
In the Detroit metropolitan area, soccer
clubs need more non-boarded soccer fields,
and HVS serves both the indoor and outdoor
soccer communities.
H
igh Velocity Sports in Canton, Michigan, is
celebrating the opening of its dome and the
opportunity to play outdoor soccer indoors.
Besides full-side soccer, the 70,000 square
foot dome will accommodate football, baseball,
softball, lacrosse, and possibly cricket. It
will provide an impressive area for corporate
events and trade shows, as well as extra
space for the facility's field trip and summer
camp programs.
