"THE BAJA CHALLENGE CLASS TEAM OF BUD BRUTSMAN, CELEBRATING THIRD PLACE AT THE 2014 SCORE BAJA 1000 ON KO2 TIRES." plagues many off-road racers. Other features include side biter lugs which protrude from the sidewall's rubber blocks and provide increased traction in mud, snow and rocks. This modification was designed to help the KO2 perform extremely well in aired- down driving situations. Raised bars in the shoulder tread area are perfect for releasing caked and compacted mud that can kill traction in muddy and soft soil conditions. The tire also features a serrated shoulder design with staggered shoulder blocks that provide optimal maneuverability in soft soil and deep snow conditions. The locking 3-D active sipe technology provides additional biting edges for considerably better grip in snow conditions. More biting edges equal more opportunities for traction. Plus, the aggressive all-terrain traction exceeds the Rubber Manufacturer Association (RMA) Severe Snow Traction performance requirements. While the KO2 has a great racing heritage, keep in mind these tires are also available for everyone from the hardcore off- road enthusiast, to the soccer mom wanting confidence driving her SUV over snow and mud. With a greater off-road ability the KO2 doesn't sacrifice a smooth ride, braking or fuel economy, making it a great tire for everyday use and aggressive enough to handle any hard road you can drive over.
