SF: Aubrey Dawkins, So. (7.0 points and 2.1 rebounds per game). Dawkins still needs to improve his ball handling and prove he can do more than shoot — he should be better on the glass with his athleticism, too. But he's a potential star if he works at his game, and he's proven to be one of the steals in the 2014 class. Backup: Duncan Robinson, So. (sat out 2014-15 due to NCAA transfer rules). PF: Zak Irvin, Jr. (14.3 points and 4.8 rebound per game). The three and the four are essentially the same position in Beilein's offense, but Irvin is better equipped with a thicker body to handle fours defensively. His finishing ability has improved dramatically, and he's becoming one of the team's most well rounded players. Backup: Kam Chatman, So. (3.6 points and 2.5 rebounds per game). C: Ricky Doyle, So. (6.1 points and 3.2 rebounds per game). Injuries and ill- ness prevented Doyle from being the consistent big man many thought he'd be after a strong start in the non-conference, but he's got the tools. He'll benefit from another year in the weight room and could be one of the Big Ten's better big men by the end of next season, according to ESPN analyst and former Big Ten player/coach Dan Dakich. Backup: D.J. Wilson (redshirt freshman). Sophomore Zak Irvin developed into one of the Wolverines' most well-rounded players, finishing with a team-best 77 three-pointers to go along with averages of 14.3 points and 4.8 rebounds per game.
