Microwave drawer ovens offer an updated twist on the traditional countertop appliance; Sharp offers several models in a variety of sizes to fit underneath any countertop or kitchen island. More spacious than a traditional microwave, these drawer ovens can hold a four-quart casserole or a 20-ounce bever- age. Bosch models are opened and closed with a simple touch and promise easy installation. Refrigerators haven't been left behind in the race to upgrade— advances include better air filtration systems, built-in wine stor- age, and even wine-dispensing units. Sub-Zero and Wolf recently introduced a new line of wine storage units that can be installed separate from the refrigerator—these units are state-of-the-art, designed to preserve the quality of wines and store bottles of all sizes. "The wine storage units from Sub-Zero and Wolf are phe- nomenal," says Jason. "They'll absolutely become a staple in your kitchen—I can see everyone having these in the future." They can even be connected to a home's security system and alert the home- owner of a power outage. For customers looking to design a new kitchen or improve an older one, Jason recommends springing for quality: "If there's no budgetary concern, there are so many things you can do—steam ovens, built-in cappuccino machines, wine storage. But if you are setting a budget, I recommend investing in Sub-Zero and Wolf appliances. They're really the leader of the pack when it comes to high-end appliance manufacturers." Boston Appliance stocks a wide range of Sub-Zero and Wolf appliances, as well as hundreds of others from high-quality brands like Maytag, Whirlpool, and Frigidaire. Jason adds, "I expect there to be even more new ad- vances in the industry in the fourth quarter this year—appliance companies are always looking to change and improve." Boston Appliance, 60 Cummings Park Dr., Woburn 781-935-2700, bostonappliance.net Sub-Zero and Wolf appliances are top of the line.
