SCORE SEMA SHOW PREVIEW SEMA SCORE BAJA 1000 EXPERIENCE RETURNS TO THE 2015 SEMA SHOW The SEMA Show in Las Vegas, Nevada is the annual gathering of the racing and automotive aftermarket industry. But it also plays host to the SCORE International Baja 1000 Experience. Held throughout the SEMA Show, November 3-6, the SCORE Baja 1000 Experience consists of a 70,000 square foot exhibit right outside the Las Vegas Convention Center's South Hall, and will feature exhibits from leading SCORE off-road desert racing teams, companies, and racers. "We are excited and honored to have such an iconic group within the off-road industry join us at the SEMA Show," said Chris Kersting, SEMA President, and CEO. "The SCORE Baja 1000 Experience represents the top tier in the industry. Its racers and partners will bring to the SEMA Show an unsurpassed level of talent that we are looking forward to seeing." The various exhibits will include a variety of SCORE SCORE Trophy Trucks and Class 1 vehicles on display, as well as SCORE's transport, and a large stage area with a huge video screen playing past race coverage of the 2015 SCORE racing season. In addition, the center stage of the Baja 1000 Experience will be the spot where various press conferences, interviews with racers, and awards will be presented throughout the show. SEMA attendees can also get autographs from some of SCORE's most prestigious racers. On Tuesday evening at 7pm, SCORE will again feature qualifying, presented by BFGoodrich Tires, for the 48th Bud Light SCORE Baja 1000 race. The qualifying will take place at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway, where the SCORE Trophy Truck and Class 1 vehicles will fight to get the fastest time around a 3.6- mile course. This will secure their starting positions for the upcoming SCORE Baja 1000 taking place November 18-21. The course at the LVMS will utilize two sections of the facility to incorporate dirt and asphalt sections that include fast straightaways, jumps, and off-road segments. Because the qualifying takes place at night, SCORE racing vehicles will be driving with their lights on, which will make for a spectacular display of power and speed. Advanced tickets will be available at 4Wheel Parts Las Vegas retail outlet and to all SEMA attendees. BFGOODRICH® TIRES CHALLENGES SEMA MEMBERS TO BAJA PIT CREW CHALLENGE Within the SEMA SCORE Baja 1000 Experience during the 2015 SEMA Show, BFGoodrich® Tires will bring attendees a taste of Baja with its first ever Baja Pit Crew Challenge. Taking place Tuesday through Thursday 10am to 3pm, two participants will compete against the clock, and each other, by conducting a controlled pit stop and testing their skills in changing BFGoodrich race tires, simulating a fuel stop on a SCORE Baja 1000 Class 10 buggy. Each day the team with the fastest time will win a set of BFGoodrich Tires and one lucky team selected at random will be rewarded with a trip to the 2016 Bud Light Baja 500 as guests of BFGoodrich Tires. BFGoodrich Performance Team members will be serving as judges and time keepers as well as participants.
