FINANCIAL REPORT 2015 ARCHDIOCESE OF DENVER 03 I invite all Christians, everywhere, at this very moment, to a renewed personal encounter with Jesus Christ, or at least an openness to leing him encounter them; I ask all of you to do this unfailingly each day. No one should think that this invitation is not meant for him or her, since "no one is excluded from the joy brought by the Lord." Pope Francis, Evangelii Gaudium Dear Friends in Christ, O ver the past year, I have been emphasizing the importance of each of us growing in our relationship with Christ, of deepening our intimacy with him and truly allowing him to become the Lord of our lives. The Archdiocese of Denver, the universal Catholic Church, and our nation need people whose lives are completely commied to seeking and following God's will for them. As we prepare for a new year, I want to thank all of you who have generously sought God's will for your lives, who have "stepped out of the boat" and "dropped your nets" to follow Christ—just as St. Peter did. The ministries of the Church in northern Colorado depend on your willingness to do this in every area of your life, including with your finances. With that in mind, I present to you the annual financial report of the Archdiocese of Denver for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2015. I invite you to take a few minutes to review this report, which will show you that the archdiocese continues to grow and prosper, thanks to God's blessings and the prayer and commitment of the priests, deacons, religious and laity serving the 142 parish communities of northern Colorado. I'm pleased to report that we continue to be financially sound. We have been successful, both spiritually and financially, because so many of our faithful are willing to commit themselves to prayer, service to others, and to providing support to their local parish and the various ministries of the archdiocese. God cannot be outdone in generosity, so I encourage you to continue seeking him with a generous heart and a willingness to seek the Father's will in every area of your life! May God richly bless you throughout the coming year! Most Reverend Samuel J. Aquila, S. T. L. Archbishop of Denver
