Lets talk how to conserve water when wash- ing dishes without an automatic dish- washer. When washing dishes by hand, do not leave the water running for rins- ing. If you have a double-basin sink, gather washed dishes in a dish rack and rinse them with a spray device or a sink full of hot water. Dual-swivel aera- tors are available at your local hardware store for approximately $5 to make this task easier, WOW. Also when cleaning vegetables, just rinse them in a stop- pered sink or a pan of clean water. Remember each minute you run the tap equates to 6 litres of water, WOW. Until next week, WATSON says, remember to think water conservation.
