Spring 2016 - 43 www.turftrends.com Floratine Names Corporate Agronomist for SE Region Floratine, a manufacturer of technologically advanced foliar and soil-based turfgrass solutions, has named Pat McHugh corporate agronomist for the Southeast U.S. region. McHugh brings more than 41 years of experience in turfgrass agronomy to Floratine and will be responsible for evaluating customers' turfgrass and soil conditions to help them develop customized nutrition programs that best fit their specific needs. McHugh has been a certified golf course superintendent for more than 27 years and has successfully managed a variety of courses throughout his career. He is also the founder of North Carolina Turf Support, an organization that specializes in providing services for turf nutrition, physical and chemical properties of soil, water analysis and both national and international consulting. McHugh holds a degree in turf management from Michigan State University. www.floratine.com Brandt Hires Director of Business Development Brandt has named John Guglielmi director of business development for the company's specialty formulations division. Guglielmi has more than 20 years of experience marketing and selling ag, turf and ornamental products. He has held numerous management positions where he was responsible for setting strategic direction and delivering a profit. Most recently, Guglielmi served as senior vice president of sales, marketing and business development at QC Corporation, a Verdesian Life Sciences company. Guglielmi is a member of the Florida Fertilizer & Agrichemical Association and past chairman of the Fluid Fertilizer Foundation.
