GIS returned to San Diego
for the third time in seven
years. I don't know if the
third time was the charm
since this is the fi rst one I
attended.
But the event's theme
promised "Everything
Under the Sun" and the
trade show delivered,
especially Electric Avenue.
It featured demo equipment
on a live 13,000-square-foot
fairway and green. A word
of advice, though—don't
take a spin on a GolfBoard
on the test track while
clutching two backpacks
and a camera.
