Summits Enhancing Learning with VR/AR in collaboration with MindCET Monday, March 7 | 12:30pm – 3:30pm JW Marriott Salon 1 The session will focus on theory and practice that showcase how VR experiences significantly enhance learning, present- ing ongoing projects that expand the scope of students' learning experiences, providing new opportunities for the educator and the learner. The projects include curricular disciplines (such as physics) as well as pedagogical chal- lenges (such as building empathy with the other), through collaborations between teachers, students, researchers and entrepreneurs from different countries (Israel, Brazil, Mexico, Spain, USA). The session willll be a rhythmic and dynamic event in 3 parts: Panel of educational experts, experiential showcase and participants' feedback activity. Ready GO! Take Innovation from Concept to Practice Monday, March 7 | 12:30pm – 6:00pm JW Marriott Salon 2 You pride yourself on staying on the forward edge of educa- tion innovation. You understand the value of constructivism AND constructionism, you promote student-driven learning, and you rock SAMR with your tech integration. You're ready to go deeper. Join expert teachers in a series of workshops to practice advanced implementations of educational innovation. Plan how to shift mindsets towards a culture of innovation, create a personal process for your own innova- tive learning experience design, and rethink assessment to track learning in an innovative, student-driven environment. Teachers: plan specific techniques to use in your classroom, and create usable projects to push your students to greater heights of learning and creating. Developers: understand these innovations to support these effective classroom prac- tices with your products. Summits are a facet of programming that can range in length from three hours to multi-day engagements. Hosted in the JW Marriott, summits are open to all registrants at no additional cost and provide a more intimate and collaborative environment.
