When buying low- flow aerators, be sure to read the label for the actual "GPM" (gallons per minute) rating. Often retailers promote "low-flow" which are rated 2.5 GPM which is at the top of the low-flow spec- trum. This is perfect for the kitchen sink and a 1.5 GPM aerator works well for the bathroom sink. Finally, WATSON says, installing aerators, shower-heads, and other water saving devices is an easy installation in most cases by the home-owner. WATSON also stresses that saving water should become everyday family practice. Until next week, WATSON says, remember to think water conservation.
