with Auto LSD (limited
slip differential), and a
locking rear differential.
Combined with Crawl
Control and Multi-Terrain
Select, the Tacoma can
provide optimum traction
for a variety of specific
terrain conditions.
As with previous TRD
Pro models, the 2017 truck
will also feature a 1/4-inch
thick aluminum front skid
plate, and a bold, new,
blacked-out front grille.
With its taller and wider
stance, the 2017 Toyota
Tacoma TRD Pro will also
look more aggressive
and no doubt provide
off-road enthusiasts
with a higher level of
performance to match.
Inside the cab, the new
Tacoma features black
leather-trimmed and
heated front seats. The
shift knob is also treated
to TRD badging while
the dash features a full
information display that
also indicates the truck's
lean and pitch angles.
Available in Double Cab
configuration, the 2017
Tacoma TRD Pro will also
feature the 3.5L V6 engine
and comes with either
a six-speed manual or
automatic transmission.
New colors will also include
Barcelona Red, Cement,
and Super White. The
truck is expected to be at
dealerships later in 2016. SJ
Off-road
performance
is what the 2017
model is all
about, with
its updated
suspension system
and traction
controls, the
limitations of this
mid-size truck just
got raised.
