Datsun SCCA champion Peter Brock
became fascinated by Baja desert racing.
So in 1969, he took his BRE team and
some specially equipped Datsun 510s
to Baja to challenge the 1000. In this
exclusive interview, Peter talks about his 'air
support' pit crew and the things they had to do
to finish the race on limited suspension. From
the guy that helped win Le Mans and design the
Corvette Stingray, this is Peter Brock talking about
his passion for Baja.
