CASELLI FOUNDATION RAISES $32K
The Kurt Caselli Foundation
fund raiser at the Doffo Winery
in Temecula, California was
held on June 11, and raised
more than $32,000 dollars for
the organization. According
to Damien Doffo, production
manager and son of Marcello
Doffo, the fundraiser was a bid
success with more people and
donations over the previous
year. "We doubled the amount
of money we raised for the
Caselli Foundation over last
year," said Doffo. "We want
to keep this going with a goal
of $50k for next year."
According to Doffo, 850
people were in attendance
at the fundraiser, in which
SCORE International was
the title sponsor.
The Doffo Winery also is
home to more than 150 rare,
unique and vintage motorcycles.
During the fundraiser, Red

In the May 2016 issue
of SCORE Journal, we
ran a story titled Strange
Sightings. One of the
images that showcased a
Honda FI250 Odyssey was
improperly captioned. The
driver of record for that
vehicle during the 1985
SCORE Baja 500 was Nick
Kozen. According to Kozen,
the car was owned by Ray
and Betty Henry. Bill Boren,
who was mentioned in the
article, was actually one
the team's sponsors, a local
Honda dealer. SJ
