he Rosarito Beach
20th SCORE Desert
Challenge will be
held in Rosarito
Beach, Baja, Mexico,
making it the 20th
running of this racing format.
The new location in Rosarito
Beach will now be a short trip
across the U.S. Border, allowing
race fans a great opportunity
to enjoy a weekend of racing
in one of the most beautiful
areas of the Baja Peninsula.
The SCORE Desert Challenge
has a history of fast-paced
racing in a loop course that
makes it easy for spectators to
witness and be a part of the
action. A total of 18 of these
events were held in Laughin,
Nevada with the 19th race being
held in Plaster City, CA in 2014.
Rosarito Beach is only a
20-minute drive from San Diego,
California and offers beautiful
beaches and resorts that cater
to U.S. citizens visiting the area.
While striving to maintain the
city's Mexican heritage, visitors
can find a great combination
of Mexican foods, culture and
hospitality mixed with modern
amenities and familiar U.S.
based department stores, and
chains. Additional areas of note
is the Baja Studios where the
movies "Titanic" and "Master &
Commander" were filmed along
with the area wineries and the
artificial reef underwater park.
The Rosarito Beach 20th
SCORE Desert Challenge is
scheduled for September
16-18th, allowing SCORE
fans additional time to make
plans for an exciting an
entertaining weekend. Make
