Conference Tips FOOD AND BEVERAGE SERVICE Breakfast: You are invited to the ILTA Bistro, Monday through Thursday from 7:30 – 9:00 a.m. in Prince George E — lower level of the convention center near the Exhibit Hall — where you will enjoy hot and cold breakfast buffets. The breakfast tables will be arranged in sections identified as ILTA's regions so that attendees have the opportunity to visit with their neighbors. At breakfast, you can review The ILTA Globe, our daily newsletter, where we'll keep you posted on schedule changes and items of interest. Lunch: Also located in the ILTA Bistro, Monday through Wednesday in Prince George E — lower level of the convention center near the Exhibit Hall — and Thursday in Potomac Ballroom A in conjunction with ILTA's annual meeting and volunteer recognition. Breaks: There are coffee/soft drink breaks available between sessions throughout the week. On Monday they are in the Maryland Ballroom Foyer and in the Exhibit Hall on Tuesday through Thursday. Themed breaks with food are available on Tuesday and Wednesday. Your conference name badge is required. Vegetarian or Kosher Meals: Special meals are available (and we don't mean, "Just eat the salad and veggies on the buffet!"). Please identify to the serving staff that you require a special meal, and they will provide one to you. If you have any difficulty, just find an ILTA staffer for assistance. Low-carb options have been built into most meals and breaks. SOCIAL EVENTS At Monday evening's Exhibit Hall opening, ILTA's Vendor Reality World, many of the exhibitors will decorate their booths and wear costumes in recognition of the theme. In addition to the themed booths, ILTA will provide various food stations that get into the spirit of the evening. 12 Program Guide ac2dc 2012 Stop by these locations for some hospitality reality: "Project Runway," "The Apprentice," "Survivor," "Top Chef," "NY Ink," "Jersey Shore," "The Amazing Race" and "Bachelor/ Bachelorette." Tuesday evening's social is a sports bar theme, so wear your favorite team's jersey! The fun-filled evening provides various buffets of "sports bar" food items, and there will be lots of games and karaoke, as well as areas for quiet conversations. Please note that the session rooms can get cold; you might plan to bring a light jacket or sweater. VENDORS RULE Vendor Promotions: Our exhibitors are provided with postal information for our attendees, excluding any members who have opted out. This information is often used by our exhibitors to send preconference mailers to promote their presence at conference or to invite attendees to their networking events. ILTA works closely with our vendors in providing guidelines around their use of this postal data. At no time does ILTA provide email addresses of its members to any vendor. Vendor Bingo: ILTA's popular game attracts conference attendees to the Exhibit Hall. Each conference attendee is given a bingo card at the grand opening of the Exhibit Hall on Tuesday morning, with a square corresponding to each booth. Conference attendees are encouraged to visit each booth number to acquaint themselves with our exhibitors and get their card stamped. Bingo cards will be collected and screened for completeness on Thursday morning. Attendees will congregate in the Exhibit Hall for the drawing, which is scheduled at noon on Thursday.
