McHugh has a team-high 14 hits on the season while starting all 11 games. — Brandan Alford Baseball swept by Samford Purdue's losing streak extended to six games over the weekend as the Boilers lost all three games they played against Samford. The early-season struggles continued as the offense la- bored to produce runs. Samford opened the series with an 8-0 shutout before adding a 4-1 win and a 13-6 victory to wrap up the weekend.
