Marcius' ankle injury slowed him in the second half, a devastating blow to Purdue's chances. Ronnie Johnson's eyes are wide open as he battles for a loose ball with Minnesota's Maverick Ahanmisi. Not only did Johnson score 14 points in 34 minutes, but he had five assists and just three turnovers. The freshman had more assists than turnovers in 15 of 18 league games. The presence of Gene Keady and Glenn Robinson for the Michigan game created a buzz heard around Mackey Arena for much of the evening. Here Robinson watches as Keady's wife, Kathleen Petrie, shows off Keady's new hairdo during first half action. Robinson spent much of the game in the club section watching son Glenn Robinson III play. His other son Gelen was in town for a recruiting visit with Coach Darrell Hazell. Rapheal Davis has been showing more emotion on the court than ever, including celebrating an "and one" during the win over Minnesota. Davis had one of his best games of the year against the Gophers, tying for team scoring honors with 18. GoldanDBlack express • volume 23, express 25 • 14
