LoRaWAN can support the DLMS/COSEM thanks to SCHC
(pronounce "chic") compression and fragmentation mechanism
• SCHC is a compression and fragmentation technology
• Compression reduces the weight of carrying IPv6 protocol over
LoRaWAN
• Fragmentation enable the transport of payload larger than LoRaWAN
maximum packet size
