17 The Proposer must provide training to [COMPANY] staff as discussed in the paragraph titled "Onsite Support" prior to the commencement of installations. There will be no installations permitted until after [COMPANY] staff is properly trained. Training on [COMPANY]-Installed Equipment Proposer should provide all additional training on [COMPANY] AMR system equipment (including the control computer and database) after it is installed, tested, and accepted by [COMPANY]. Training should use real data from [COMPANY's] own system. Location All training shall be done at [COMPANY] offices and facilities, or in the field at [COMPANY]. Training Curriculum The Proposer shall provide thorough training and specify teaching method and duration for each of the training sessions. [COMPANY's] training facilities may be used for these sessions. Training shall cover each of the following areas: aspects of the LoRaWAN AMI system's operation, including obtaining reads and consumption data from the system; transferring reads and other information between the AMR system and the united systems; creating, analyzing, and customizing performance reports; diagnosing potential problems with system components; and changing or adding customer accounts/MIU/meters to the system. Testing The Proposer's training shall include evaluation of trainees to ensure that they have learned the course content and can perform all necessary functions on the system. The Proposer shall notify [COMPANY] of any employees who fail this evaluation and provide them with additional training as required. The Proposer shall repeat a training session at no additional cost to [COMPANY] if most of the trainees have not attained the skills from the training session or fail the evaluation at the end of the training. Training Objectives and Outline The Proposer shall provide a detailed outline of each training session's objectives and content at least two weeks prior to the training session to [COMPANY] for review. Training Aids The proposer shall provide trainees' workbooks, training aids (including software and video), and system technical manuals prior to or during the training session at no additional cost. At a minimum, the proposer should provide copies for the number of employees to be utilizing the system plus five (5) extra copies. Supplemental Training The Proposer shall provide a schedule of costs for additional training beyond the initial training proposed. Restoration of Equipment The Proposer shall restore, repair, or replace any [COMPANY] equipment damaged in training and restore any hardware or software modified in training. Instructors The Proposer shall provide trained and experienced instructor(s) and ensure that they do not perform other duties during the training period that will interrupt instruction. The instructor will provide a checklist to trainees for them to evaluate presentation of course materials for effective feedback to [COMPANY].
