It marks Brad Pitt's most successful box office debut as a lead actor and is the largest Apple-backed release in history. The film also stands out as the fourth biggest to be shot entirely in the immersive IMAX format. In the movie, following a surprise comeback in Formula 1, Hayes ultimately chooses to follow his instincts and returns to pursue the SCORE Baja 1000. He seeks a seat with a top-tier Class 1 team to compete in what many call the "Super Bowl of Off-Road" or the "Indianapolis 500 of the desert," a race that every November brings the entire Baja peninsula to a standstill and attracts thousands of adrenaline-fueled adventurers from across the globe.
