Baja California is recognized
as the Capital of Mexican
Wine, producing over 70%
of the country's wine. This
season offers the perfect
chance to explore its seven
unique wine valleys: Tanamá,
La Grulla, San Vicente, Ojos
Negros, Santo Tomás, San
Jacinto, and the Valle de
Guadalupe.
From July 30 and for more
than 25 days, visitors can
enjoy a diverse lineup of
activities including guided
tastings, wine pairing dinners,
vineyard tours, concerts, food fairs, and charity events — all held in beautiful
outdoor settings that showcase the region's stunning landscapes and the
hospitality of its wine community.
Starting with the 35th Wine Showcase, the event that started the traditional
Vendimia celebrations in the region, through to the 35th "Dr. Ramón García
Ocejo" Paella Contest, a beloved countryside family event featuring wineries and
paella teams, each activity highlights the cultural and gastronomic richness of
Baja California.
The Vendimia Festival is an invitation to fully immerse yourself in the wine
tourism experience — learn about the production process, meet the winemakers,
and discover culinary creations that have put Baja California on the world
gastronomic map.
