march/april 2008 R IN K M A G AZ I N E 39 and friends to see the progress and improvements of the skaters who have spent so much of their summer indoors training. To protect the eligibility of the skaters participating, please follow the sanctioning and approval rules of U.S. Figure Skating. Make sure to advertise your programs and events in plenty of time before the summer. Families need advance notice to make travel plans or adjust their family schedules. Buy an advertisement in skating publications, local competition programs and send your brochures to all of the local clubs and give flyers to your coaching staff to distribute. Most local competitions will have flyers advertising upcoming seminars and camps trying to attract people to attend. And as always, word of mouth is the best, free advertising around! ★ To find more information, please go to www.usfigureskating.org or contact Susi Wehrli at swehrli@usfigureskating.org. To best serve your customers during the busy summer months, get creative with program scheduling and fee structure. 801.616.0043 • e-mail: sales@sporticeusa.com info@iceguard.fi CONTACT US PAT: 6,948,267 B2 • INT.
