Thinking Big Notre Dame is chasing frontcourt players in 2014-15 recruiting class By Wes Morgan T he spring live period featured plenty of movement by the Notre Dame men's basketball coaching staff, with scholarship offers extended to four class of 2014 big men and a five-star center near the top of the 2015 crop. With forward Jack Cooley having exhausted his eligibility at the end of the 2012-13 season, and fellow forwards Tom Knight and Garrick Sherman set to finish out their careers next year, reloading in the paint is crucial moving forward. Checking In On Reid Travis Whether it's playing small forward, quarterback or both, Reid Travis is still trying to figure out what the future holds at the college level. Until the 2014 Minneapolis De La Salle athlete decides, he'll continue to hear what basketball and football programs have to say this summer. The 6-7, 235-pounder, who received an offer from Notre Dame earlier this spring, is currently ranked as the No. 59 overall prospect in the 2014 class, the No. 14 small forward in the country and the No. 3 player in Minnesota by 247Sports.
