Those C Class items may not yet require counting, but the A class item will take you to this bin and require you to count all three of the C Class items, as well. Let's create a plan definition for B and C Class items as well. When complete, your plan definitions should appear as follows: Name: A Description: A Class Items Default Reason Code: 0 Count All Items At Bin?: Unchecked Name: B Description: B Class Items Default Reason Code: 0 Count All Items At Bin?: Unchecked Name: C Description: C Class Items Default Reason Code: 0 Count All Items At Bin?: Unchecked Plan Periods Cycle Count Plan Periods define the frequency at which each class of items will be counted. For this demonstration, we will count the items at an accelerated frequency. 1) Navigate to the Cycle Count Plan Periods page: Main Menu Administration Planning Maintenance Cycle Count Plan Periods 2) Select your Cycle Count A plan. 3) From the View/Function Menu select Create Periods. 4) Enter a start date of 01 Jan 2024. 5) Enter the number of periods per calendar year at 12 to have the items counted roughly every month. 6) Repeat this process for B items with 4 periods, to have the items counted quarterly. 7) Repeat this process for C items with 2 periods, to have them counted roughly every 6 months. 8) Copy from prior year. Plans may be further modified manually by editing, adding or deleting records. The Working Days may not be modified to a value greater than the total number of days in each period but may have their values modified up and down depending on any additional holidays or non-working/non- counting days you want to set it a given period. Cycle Count Plan Job Wizard Now that we have defined the ABC Classes that we want plans for and a schedule for each plan, the Cycle Count Plan Job Wizard can be used to facilitate creating cycle count jobs that will keep you on track based on the number of working days remaining in each period. This will dynamically adjust the number of counts needed per day, based on the number of working days left in the period. 1) Within Latitude Web navigate to the Cycle Count Plan Job Wizard: Main Menu Activities Cycle Count Cycle Count Plan Job Wizard. Step 1: The Plan Type refers to the Count All Items At Bin? property on the Cycle Count Plan Definition. If the box was checked it is considered a "Count by Bin". If the box was not checked, it is considered a "Count by Item". The Exclude Items with Allocation? property allows you to avoid items that should have picks today, keeping your counters out of the way of your pickers, filtering out items that have allocations in Latitude from the daily count list. • Click Next to proceed.
