Material Handling Types
Next, let's create our "Material Handling Types" that our
checklists go along with:
1) The Material Handling Types page allows for defining types
of equipment that will be made available within Latitude.
Go to Main Menu Administration Material Handling
Equipment Material Handling Types.
2) Click the Add button and let's create new material handling
types. Let's create one for the propane version of the
forklift and another for the electric version.
3) Set its status to "Active" and give it a meaningful
description.
4) For now, set the "Pull Type" to "Default" and check the
"Change Active Pull Type" checkbox – (more on this in a
bit!).
5) Assign the appropriate "Safety Checklist" for this type of
equipment.
