OLYMPIC SPORTS we threw out the things we're thank‑ ful for and that we appreciate, not only as a team, but from Michigan and our support staff. We were counting our blessings and then moving forward; we want to appreci‑ ate those things and use those things to reach the potential of this team. MEN'S GYMNASTICS (10-3 OVERALL, 6-2 BIG TEN) No. 4 Michigan improved to 9‑3 against ranked opponents when it bested No. 3 Penn State and No. 18 Temple in a tri‑meet March 6, and No. 3 Illinois March 15 … Senior Sta‑ cey Ervin ranked third nationally on the floor exercise with a four‑score average of 15.517 through March 16 … Sophomore Anthony Stefanelli was 10th in the same event with a score of 15.083 … Ervin also held a top‑10 spot on vault (fourth, 15.233), while senior Nick Hunter was third on the parallel bars (15.167) … U‑M will look to win its third straight Big Ten title March 27‑28 in State Col‑ lege, Pa.
