ith December winding
down, many of the win-
ter sports are just getting
underway at the Univer-
sity of Michigan. Men and women's
swimming and diving, men and
women's gymnastics, men and wom-
en's indoor track and field, wrestling
and water polo compete during the
winter months and won't wrap up
until spring is in the air.
Some of the programs are national
powerhouses, while others will
struggle to compete in conference
play. Here are the storylines, student-
athletes and must-see events to watch.
