BY BRANDON BROWN W ith December winding down, many of the win- ter sports are just getting underway at the Univer- sity of Michigan. Men and women's swimming and diving, men and women's gymnastics, men and wom- en's indoor track and field, wrestling and water polo compete during the winter months and won't wrap up until spring is in the air. Some of the programs are national powerhouses, while others will struggle to compete in conference play. Here are the storylines, student- athletes and must-see events to watch. MEN'S SWIMMING AND DIVING CHASES SIXTH CONSECUTIVE BIG TEN TITLE In 2014-15, the men's swimming and diving team won its fifth consec- utive Big Ten title and placed third at the NCAA Championships, the pro- gram's fourth consecutive top-five Winter Olympic Sports Preview As The Weather Turns Cold U-M Teams Heat Up Senior Dylan Bosch is the reigning Big Ten Swimmer of the Year and an 11-time All- American.
