has led to more coverage, which in 2015, culminated in a two-hour SCORE Baja 1000 special. Additional coverage is also expected for the 2016 race season. "We are working closely with television networks such as CBS Sports Spectacular and others for additional shows and race coverage," said Norman. "For example, this year the SCORE Baja 1000 will have three hours of coverage around it. In addition, corporate media networks such as Red Bull Media House conducted six hours of coverage at last year's SCORE Baja 1000. That added up to nine hours of coverage, more than any other off-road racing event. This is great for us as SCORE's added television presence is one of the methods we wanted to use to grow our worldwide fan base." As the demand for SCORE broadcast events increases, the potential for improved branding and exposure for SCORE's racers and sponsors increases at both the consumer and corporate levels. "We're getting up to 19 airings on one show, where it used to be averaging only one or two airings," said Norman. "So were hitting it big with CBS in the United States and Canada, ESPN International, then putting the broadcasts on the internet so anybody can see it." "Every day it's growing," says Norman. "We're getting contacted by networks all over the world to get our race broadcasts." Even past race footage is beginning to resurface, as the demand for SCORE racing action increases. "We now have more than 40 years of accumulated racing SCORE'S EXTENSIVE TELEVISION BROADCAST COVERAGE REACHES MILLIONS OF VIEWERS ON NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL NETWORKS. footage that is becoming available 24-7, 365-days out of the year," said Norman. "With many internet based networks running this content, SCORE fans can watch it free of charge. We've also been busy taking our archived videotape, digitizing it, and putting it up on the SCORE TV channel. So for many of our long- time sponsors, all the money they've invested within SCORE back then, is being viewed by a whole new audience." THE INTERNET OPENS NEW AVENUES Aside from the tens of millions of viewers SCORE receives on its racing broadcasts, the company has looked to achieve success via the internet. An updated website offers much more access to information, and a new Racer Site page provides easy access for racers to get the information they need. "When we took over SCORE we had 250K people visiting the website. Once it was revamped and launched in 2014 we had 1.4 million people coming to the site," said Norman. "In conjunction with our Dirt-Live shows and more, we turned the SCORE website turned into a content based information and entertainment site. It quickly grew to 2.5 million people visiting the site every month." To aid in drawing traffic to SCORE's website and other online assets, SCORE Journal was created. Launched in 2015, SCORE Journal is a digital publication that reaches more than 2-million monthly unique readers, providing insight and additional content 059 SCORE JOURNAL GETSOMEPHOTO
