The largest off-road parts and accessory retailer, 4 Wheel Parts, has partnered with SCORE International to increase branding of both organizations to wider audiences. "We are excited to add another powerful brand to the growing list of our SCORE family of sponsor partners," said Jim Ryan, SCORE Sales and Marketing Director. "4 Wheel Parts and its expanding retail operations and customer base will enhance the already strong marketing and promotional assets that SCORE has now developed." 4 Wheel Parts has 75 retail operations along with associated product divisions and social media platforms. SCORE will share race and custom content video programs for viewing in 4Wheel Part's retail show rooms. In addition, SCORE International race promotions, as well as continuing SCORE SEMA Baja 1000 Qualifier ticket allocation promotions, will be available at 4Wheel Parts Performance Centers and for SCORE Baja 1000 qualifier, exclusively at the Las Vegas 4Wheel Parts location. "Together, our two companies can increase the exposure level of the SCORE World Desert Championship series to our global fan base," said Ryan. "It will also provide 4 Wheel Parts with increased exposure for all its brands to SCORE's industry leading connections to the Off-Road Motorsports and performance global enthusiast base." 4 WHEEL PARTS BECOMES SCORE OFFICIAL PARTNER SCORE AND THE STAND 21 SAFETY FOUNDATION TO HOST WORKSHOP ON OFF-ROAD RACING SAFETY A workshop for drivers, team members, and SCORE will take place July 30th at SCORE Tech Shop in El Cajon, CA, which will include discussions on safety issues affecting the sport. The Stand 21 Safety Foundation will be bringing in several safety experts from other forms of racing. These include Yves Morizot President and Founder of the Stand 21 Safety Foundation. He created the organization five years ago in order to give back to the sport he has loved for so long. Also speaking is Dr. Terry Trammell, who has served as an orthopedic spine surgeon in Indianapolis for 32 years, and has had a close association with the Indy 500 and its drivers. Trammell is a founding member of the International Council of Motorsports Science (ICMS), and a founding fellow of the FIA Institute for Motorsport Safety. Tom Gideon, PE-Motorsports Safety Expert, will also be speaking at the event. Gideon was the Senior Director of Safety for NASCAR's Research and Development center, and served at General Motors as Safety Manager for the GM Racing group in the previous 12 years. His research work with HANS, seats, belts, "black box" data recording, and accident investigation, engaged him with all types of racing, including Off Road. SCORE and Stand 21 invites racers and teams to attend the Driver Safety Workshop Presented by SCORE and the STAND 21 Safety Foundation. It takes place from 9am to 12:30 pm at the SCORE International Tech Shop located at 9434 Bond Ave., El Cajon, CA 92021 This will be a casual event, with an opportunity for all to be heard.
