6 #HERSTORY One of my favorite SWN memories was an event that was part of our "inspirational" series, hosted with the founder of Back on My Feet who started a running club for the homeless in Philadelphia. This was a transformative experience helping individuals to move forward in their lives and reclaim their confidence and dignity. Soon after, we started the SEI Rush Hour Run which continues today. This event was powerful because I think it inspired us to think outside the box about how we as SEI employees can have a positive impact in our community and it's an event that has grown significantly over the years! Megan Brunner Investment Management Unit Product Solutions Manager and SWN Co-Founder During my first year, we organized an event on personal branding and that event was very successful. Rasmeet Sachdeva Director of Technology, Corporate IT At the beginning of each board meeting, we discuss the professional and personal accomplishments of the board members as well as other women at SEI. It's been rewarding to hear about these achievements and share in the celebration. Linda Scavone Director of Risk, SEI Private Trust Company Being an SWN board member provided, and still provides me, opportunities to interact with a diverse group of people and build meaningful relationships across the entire company. Networking plays a huge part in our careers and personal lives, and SWN provides numerous occasions to build new relationships. One of the most particularly impactful and meaningful events as a board member occurred when the Women's Network worked to reimagine our mission and change the perception of SWN from being seen as merely tactical event planners, just for women, to being change agents with a strategic vision across the company.
