Launching with a single rifle range and two trap ranges in Beaver Falls, PA, the club relocated to its current home in 1955 and has added a second rifle range, a pis- tol range, a 3-D archery course, and two more trap fields to keep up with demand. Trap access is available seven days a week t h r o u g h a m o d e r n k e y c a r d sy st e m f o r trained members. A COMMUNITY HUB T h e a s s o c i a t i o n 's c o m m i t m e n t t o f o s - t e r i n g a st r o n g s e n s e o f c o m m u n i t y i s evident in its popularity and vibrant mem- bership base, which hovers around 600 individuals. From seasoned marksmen to newcomers, BFSA provides a welcoming environment where students can connect with like-minded people, share their pas- sion for shooting sports, and learn from experienced mentors. "I think every individual who is capable should have basic firearm knowledge," said BFSA president Ron Neff. " We have had many families from the team join the club that, before the USA Clay Target League, were not a 'gun' family, and without this avenue, they would have never thought of owning a firearm." Beyond its world-class facilities, the BFSA fosters a strong sense of community among its members. The clubhouse pro- vides a welcoming space for socializing, educational events, and club meetings. Members can also enjoy the beautiful out- door grounds for picnics, hiking, and other recreational activities. BUILDING THE NEXT GENERATION One of the most significant develop- ments in recent years has been the surge in youth participation in shooting sports. BFSA has been at the forefront of this movement, actively promoting and supporting young shooters through the Blackhawk Clay Target Team. Blackhawk's journey began in 2022 when a group of passionate individuals recognized the need for a local youth shooting program. With the support o f t h e B F S A , t h e t e a m wa s f o r m e d , offering a platform for young athletes to develop their skills, compete at a high level, and foster a lifelong love for the sport.
