Keeping Costs Down As you flip through this magazine, check out deals on the Clay Target Marketplace, or even just take a picture with the State Tournament banner, you'll see logos of the League's supporters. What you may not realize is the importance these organizations have for the League and its participants. "The support of these organizations goes directly to keeping participation affordable through the season and through the League's events in June and July," said John Hubener, Sales & Fundraising Manager for the USA Clay Target League. " Without these supporters, families would have to pay nearly three times more to participate in youth clay target shooting sports each year." As a record 39,000-plus students participate this spring, the challenges of maintaining and growing the largest youth clay target shooting sports program in the world do not get any easier. Each year, the League gives athletes scholarships, thousands of awards, tens of thousands of patches, t-shirts, and more while collecting, organizing, and calculating over 700,000 individual scores across nearly 2,000 teams in 41 states. The League thanks all of the 145 supporters that are key to keeping youth clay target shooting sports growing. And, if you see them, you should too!
