PullUSA: What's your goal when you step onto the field each round? What do you enjoy most about this sport? Brody Becker: My first goal as team captain is to make sure all my teammates are using and wearing the proper safety gear. My second goal is to focus so I can shoot the best I can. I most enjoy being able to work on my shooting skills and seeing the results in my scores. PullUSA: What other activities or hobbies do you enjoy outside of clay target? Becker: Outside of shooting clay targets, I like to turkey hunt in the spring. During summer break I like to fish, camp and spend as much time as I can at Bull Shoals Lake. During the fall and winter I enjoy deer hunting, crow hunting, and predator calling. PullUSA: What's your favorite team moment or memory? Becker: My favorite memory from this year is our fun day shoot at the end of our season—everyone on my team gets to enjoy friendly competition and a cookout. Another great memory is traveling to competitions in Jacksonville and hanging out with my teammates. PullUSA: What clay target accom- plishments are you most proud of ? Becker: I am most proud of being able to perform well while shooting in the League. I'm also proud that I have been able to keep my scores high enough to win a few first place titles. PullUSA: Anything else you'd like to add? Becker: I feel fortunate I attend a school that allows us to have a trap field on cam- pus and allows us to practice after school. I'm also thankful my parents are able to support me and travel to competitions with me. Each issue of PullUSA features different high school clay target athletes exhibiting exceptional character and passion for the sport and their communities. ✪ 12 PULLUSA MAGAZINE WINTER 2026 THE LEAD ON T HE L INE S OPHOMORE BRODY BECKER SHOT HIS FIRST CLAY TARGET ON CHRISTMAS NEARLY A DECADE AGO.
