PUBLIC RELATIONS & MEDIA IMPACT
PR PROGRAM UPDATES
In 2025, the LoRa Alliance
®
set out to expand its media cover-
age beyond its core technical trades and reach a broader mix
of media outlets. To achieve this, we adopted a tiered media
strategy for 2025. It was designed to maintain visibility in the
niche vertical and technology trades read by engineers and
system integrators, increase our visibility with leading technolo-
gy outlets, and secure some marquee opportunities with main-
stream outlets. Across the board, the program was successful,
exceeding the planned targets for media briefings, interviews,
and articles written and placed.
Mainstream Media
For mainstream media, the focus was on building awareness
with a wider audience. We targeted outlets that cater to a broad
audience of tech-savvy consumers, industry professionals, and
business decision-makers. These outlets require ideas that
focus on verified facts, industry trends, and big-picture insights
rather than niche technical details.
