PRE OPERATION
1. Prepare the workspace: clear the table except for the workpiece or stock.
2. Inspect the workpiece: inspect for loose knots, splits, defects, and foreign objects.
3. Support the workpiece: use extension tables or rollers to support larger workpieces.
4. Adjust rip fence: if rip cutting set to correct position and lock in place, while powered off.
5. Set the miter gauge: if cross cutting, set the miter gauge as per manufacturer's instructions with an
extension fence. Never use rip fence for crosscuts.
6. Check the blade: use the proper blade for the type of work and ensure it is sharp and undamaged.
7. Set the blade: while powered off, set the blade to the appropriate height above the workpiece.
8. Start dust collector: turn on the dust collection system and ensure its working appropriately.

PRECAUTIONS
1. Inspect equipment - Do not use if equipment is damaged.
2. Inspect guards/shields - Do not use if guards/shields are missing or damaged.
3. Keep blades clean and sharp.
4. Tie back long hair, ensure no loose clothing, remove jewelry, no gloves while
machine is in operation.
