PullUSA: What was your experience at the State Tournament like, and what kind of preparation went into it? Grace Snow: It was really just kind of a normal shoot; I was just trying to do my best. I was practicing on the stations that I miss a lot more, trying to keep my average the same and get a little better. PullUSA: When did you first get involved in clay target shooting, and what do you enjoy most about it? Snow: I first started around fifth grade—my dad, my brother, and I were all just kind of shooting a little bit. Then I really got involved in seventh grade when I joined the high school team. My favorite part about it is probably traveling and just making friends with teammates. PullUSA: What other activities or sports do you enjoy? Snow: Outside of trap, I hunt. I've also always danced, I'm a cheerleader, and then I show animals for 4-H, which I've been involved with for 10 years. PullUSA: Do you have any big goals for your senior season? Snow: I'd like to win State and then place at Nationals. I'd also like to beat my brother for our team's high gun for the season. PullUSA: How do you handle your nerves before stepping up to the line? Snow: I just try and keep my mind off of trap shooting as much as I can before I shoot; it kind of calms me and keeps me from thinking about it. PullUSA: Is there anything else you would like to add? Snow: I'd like to give a shoutout to my dad and grandpa, and then my coaches.
