S tate Technical College of Missouri (State Tech) got its start in the USA College Clay Target League just over a year ago with a five-athlete squad. Since then, the team has found its stride—more than doubling its participation in the program and earning multiple conference runner-up finishes along the way. "I just want to give students something to remember their college experience by," State Tech Coach Tyler Helton said. For student athletes, the team provides a place to build friend- ships, create lasting memories, and compete in the sport they love. 36 PULLUSA MAGAZINE SUMMER 2026 THE FIELD C OL L EGE SP O T L IGH T MOMENTUM THE STATE TECHNICAL COLLEGE OF MISSOURI SHOOTING SPORTS TEAM HAS BUILT STRONG BONDS AND A THRIVING PROGRAM by EMILY SIZEN E N R O L L M E N T S I Z E O F T E A M L O CAT I O N 2,400 13 Linn, MO s t a t e t e c h m o . e d u CAMPUS CONNECTIONS Founded in 1961, State Tech is a public, two-year college located in Linn, Mis- souri.
