Regional Training Programs
STAR is kicking off its 2016 Regional Training Program earlier
than ever!
Starting the week of March 7, we'll be offering an HRM course
in the Washington D.C. area at the Friends of Fort Dupont Ice
Arena, then offering two different PMP courses at WIAMA's
Spring Conference the week of April 18 and then at NEISMA's
Spring Conference the week of April 25.
We have some terrific locations for the rest of the summer and
fall. We will be releasing those dates and locations through
starrinks.com on April 15!
CIT Recertification
CIT Class of 2011—it's time to recertify! As an ice industry
professional, STAR requires that you recertify every five years
from the year your CIT was originally achieved.
There are two ways for individuals to recertify their CIT
designation in 2016:
1. Attend and successfully complete the CIT review workshop
and recertification exam at the North American Rink Conference
and Expo, May 16-19, 2016 in Columbus, Ohio.
2. Successfully complete the CIT recertification exam, offered
at any Regional Training Program location in 2016.
