One of hip hop's greatest producers, and half of legendary duo Gang Starr, is rocking Plan B this month. Be ready for some jazzy funky soul to warm up your cold February night. HOUSE Desolat are in town,Tini & Guti @ Secret Location, 9th. REVIEWS: 2 of the Desolat big dogs are in town. Expect an extended experimental house and techno set from Tini and a live show to remember from Guti. INDIE LWE PRESENT SPEAKERBOX MISTAJAM @ GREAT SUFFOLK STREET WAREHOUSE London Warehouse Events hosted another epic party, and this time round they teamed up with Mistajam to head up the night. From day one the party had already boasted an epic line up with drum and bass legends Chase and Status and Pendulum headlining the bill in Room One. Not a bad start really is it? Room Two was led by BBC Radio 1 DJ and first lady of Digital Soundboy, B- Traits who tore up her set. Mistajam played both rooms, but treated us to a house set in Room Two later on in the evening. Speakerbox residents Majestic and Bitr8 brought us some heavy vibes, though the artists that smashed it for us was the UK duo Kry Wolf. These guys got the party poppin' with a mash up of a bit of house to garage and UK funky, they topped off our night! All in all, this was a HUGE party headed up by super promoters London Warehouse Events, combined with the best bass music and a great venue...Mistajam we salute you! Steve Arguelles @ Southbank centre, 8th. Drummer Steve Argüelles and pianist Benoît Delbecq are playing a rare UK gig at Southbank Centre. Free entrance for the best music in the best venue DUBSTEP Koko is bringing you some of London's finest dubstep Modestep is a 4 piece band that produce dubstep live. So if you haven't seen them live yet then make sure you head down to Koko on the 14th of February to have your mind blown away by their energetic performance. Louche x RBMA with Omar S, Kyle Hall, Hunee, Simoncino, Mr Beatnick & Oscillate Wildly @ Plan B Jah Revelation Musik night @ Brixton Hootenanny REGGAE Louche know how to throw a party, that is one fact that cannot be denied. This time they brought Detroit legend Omar S and the new Detroit kid on the block Kyle Hall with them who both tore the roof off Plan B at the end of January. With raw, anthemic house and techno tunes the atmosphere was off the hook upstairs on the main dance floor as the Another massive night of really smooth reggae beats. A very lively band playing traditional reggae to an audience of dedicated skankers. This night really hits your insides with the heavy bass sound and beautiful offbeats. Rasta hats, smiling Jamaicans, and wonderful feel-good lyrics, this band will have you leaving Snoop Lion is going to hit the big screen. united throng of partygoers embraced the beauty of the tunes and partied until the early hours. Crowd and DJ were so united as one that by the end of the night Omar S was clasping hands with the crowd loving every minute, passing vinyls over the decks for the mesmerised crowd to check out as the true value of great music was realised. with a bounce in your step and a beautiful relaxed mind. The venue is huge, with a large candle-lit seating area, and the stage room. From Wednesday through to Sunday each week they have live reggae bands and DJ's from all over the world to warm your bones and get you moving. The documentary on Snoop's controversial religious conversion to the Rastafarian religion is going to hit selected theatres in the U.S. on March 15.
